To ensure the safety of equipment operators, it is important that Fume Cupboard servicing is undertaken on a regular basis. This will minimise the chances of equipment failing and will also ensure that that the laboratory equipment runs efficiently and with minimal downtime. COSHH requires that fume cupboards are tested every 14 months. Sempertek offer 12 month detailed inspections in accordance with BS EN 14175 Part 4 that is suitable for most users and a 6 monthly check for fume cupboards that are heavily used.
